Got Holes in Your Net-Working System?

You won't find commercial fishermen catching fish if they have holes in their nets. If your basic networking model is filled with holes you won't gather up many new people for your down line either. Of course I'm referring to how the Internet can be used with your company's business model and grow your business.
The majority of network marketing companies or businesses that utilize duplication in their payout plans are ill prepared to help their members cope with the ever-changing intricacies of the Internet. That is why over 95% of online entrepreneurs fail. They sign up with these companies after hearing their pie-in-the-sky, get-rich-quick pitches only to find that after spending way too much money and time promoting their businesses that they were already doomed from the start.
So, why does this go on? Isn't it in these companies' best interest for their members to succeed in their businesses? I should think so! As I see it, it's a matter of the parent companies' level of specific expertise. It's like the difference between a manufacturer and his sales reps. The manufacturer does well at developing products and all the steps that lead up to the manufacturing, packaging and labeling process. But his sales reps are unique individuals that excel at building relationships that lead to sales for the manufacturer. And that has been so for generations in the brick and mortar world. But even the best sales reps have problems doing business on the Internet. Again, it's a matter of expertise.
If you're a net worker you may be pretty good with your computer. Perhaps you can put together a decent website, too. But honestly, if you're just getting by in your online business you're suffering from the same difficulties as complete amateurs. You haven't learned how to successfully promote your business. You can buy Google AdWords until you're blue in the face but if you didn't buy the right ones or bid too high you can spend yourself out of existence. If you bought a ton of leads from a lead source or even from your own organization to call or email that can become an exercise in futility, too because all too often the list is old and the people are already out of the market. Again, way too expensive!
So, it comes down to expertise again. You need to learn more. You need to work smarter than even your up-line does. If you are willing to educate yourself and do something other than what hasn't worked up to this point you can succeed. I am personally involved in online businesses where building down lines and selling services pays me very well. They are all online and I had to find out the hard way the information I am sharing with you now. Think of me as the guy who tried, failed and finally got it together. Now, I am a leader because I have trained myself to be one. My business continues to grow and people seek me out to work with me.
Isn't that what you want? Well, duhh, you say. Ok, then. The first thing you must learn when you're working the online portion of your business is the two, three or four-foot rule does NOT apply. Neither does the debt-free status of your company or the superiority of your products over your competitors. And if you're concentrating on sponsoring new people the compensation plan does'nt matter much either.
There's only one thing or person in this case that matters. YOU! Your hot website supplied by your company or even if you built it yourself means nada, zip, nothing. The one crucial ingredient in your initial contact with a person who DOES visit your website is your credibility. Developing a rapport with them and providing good written content backed up with your expertise is all that matters. They will not believe you and certainly not buy anything from you or sign up under you unless they first trust you and view you as a leader in your field and who can answer their questions truthfully.
People who buy online are careful. They know there are scams out there that they hear about every day on the news so they are suspiciousl. As an online network marketer you must be aware of people's fears and take your time with them. Once they trust and respect you and the value you bring to the table they will usually do business with you. So, now you know how it works.
That's the basics. Now, it's up to you.
