When that scheduled follow up produces no results, you need something else to automatically remind you one month from that date to attempt contacting that potential customer, again. This is where good software can be real nice because computers often have better memories than humans.
Somewhere along the way there is going to be a time when you have to decide to archive a contact because they are not responding to the sales effort so you store them in the computer for staying on the mailing list. All of these things must be seem like a real problem and then you realize you need a really fast, good leads management software program to help you out.
