What this means is that you should be able to present your article in a factual but entertaining way. Humour helps in this case and thankfully you are allowed to use humour when writing a feature article. Since a feature article is entertaining you also have the right to put in some colloquial and light phrases as needed. Additionally you also have the chance to actually voice out an opinion in a featured article, something that you can rarely do in a normal article.
When you have the right mix and balance between being factual and being entertaining your feature article becomes much easier to read. At the same time you'll find that your readers will enjoy reading your articles because not only do they learning something new in the process, they still have the chance to have a quiet chuckle.
